Why does a fish yawn? There has been multiple theories why they do. Some think it is their way to defend themselves when you get closer and approach them. Others think it is part of their biological system to suck water into their mouth and out through their gills. But for whatever reason, it is part of their natural marine behavior.
Catching them to yawn requires a lot of patience and luck! I have waited from 10-38 minutes just to catch this behavior.
In this album you will find my collection of yawning fishes! Enjoy! 😊
