kinda chic to realize you don’t have to become someone else to finally like yourself.

you can hype another woman and still know you’re THAT girl too.
you can be a work in progress and still take the picture.
you can feel nervous and do it anyway.
you can stop waiting for the weight loss, the confidence, the “right time.”

and maybe the plot twist is…

you were never “not photogenic.”
you just needed to see yourself differently.

soft. sexy. awkward. confident. healing. becoming.

all of it gets to be you.

and all of it is worth remembering. 🤍

kinda chic, actually.

POV: Na-peer pressure kang ipakita yung bo***ir photos mo…

pero lowkey, gusto mo rin naman talaga. 👀😂🔥

“Sige na nga, since mapilit kayo…”

Pero ang totoo, naghihintay ka lang talaga na may magtanong. 😂

And then comes the best part—the reactions.

The screaming.
The “DOC, ANG GANDA!”
The “ANG SEXY MO!”
At siyempre, yung “Para kang painting noong sinaunang panahon!”

Because sometimes, seeing yourself like this feels too good not to share.

A little confident. A little daring. And very much still you. 🤍

Consider this your sign to take the photos you’ll kunwari ayaw ipakita… pero secretly, hindi ka na makapaghintay na makita ng friends mo. 😂

Hello, it’s me! 👋🏻🤍

I’m Kit — a photographer, creative, entrepreneur, wife, and a woman who is still very much becoming.

If you’re new here, hi! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. ✨

I’m the woman behind Hello Darling, where I photograph women and remind them that they don’t have to wait until they feel confident, lose the weight, reach the milestone, or become a different version of themselves to be worthy of being photographed.

I’m also a wife to my favorite person, Teng, my partner in life, work, random ideas, and pretty much everything in between. 😂

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably working on one of our businesses, chasing another goal, trying to get stronger, learning something new, traveling for shoots, or having one of those “wait… is this what growing up feels like?” realizations.

I love beautiful things, but I’m more interested in the stories behind them.

I believe you can be ambitious and soft.
You can want more and still be grateful for what you have.
You can reinvent yourself as many times as you need to.
And you’re never really “done” becoming.

So if you’re here for photography, womanhood, business, marriage, fitness, self-love, big dreams, small wins, and the occasional life realization at 2AM…

Hello, Darling. I’m Kathrina Francia | Bo***ir Lady . 🤍

I’m happy you’re here.

Dear Darling,

If I had a peso for every time someone told me, “I’m not photogenic,” I’d probably have enough to build an even bigger studio.

It’s one of the first things I hear when women walk through my door.

“I don’t know how to pose.”
“I’m awkward.”
“I always look weird in pictures.”

Can I tell you a secret?

Almost every woman you see on my Instagram has said the same thing.

The difference isn’t that they’re naturally photogenic.

They simply allowed themselves to trust the process.

After years of photographing women, I’ve realized that being photogenic has very little to do with how you look.

It has everything to do with feeling safe.

That’s why I guide every pose, every breath, every little movement. You don’t need to know what to do before you arrive.

Halfway through every session, something shifts.

You stop asking if you look okay.

You stop thinking about the camera.

You start enjoying yourself.

And those always become my favorite photographs.

Not because your face changed.

Not because your body changed.

But because, for a moment, you stopped criticizing yourself.

When clients see their gallery, many of them say, “I can’t believe that’s me.”

I always smile.

Because from where I was standing…

It had been you all along.

So if you’ve been telling yourself you’re “not photogenic,” maybe you’ve simply never been photographed in a space where you felt safe enough to be yourself.

You don’t have to know how to pose.

You don’t have to arrive confident.

You don’t even have to believe me yet.

Just borrow my belief in you for a little while.

I’ll hold it until you’re ready to hold it yourself.

With love,

Kit

A frame worth keeping.
Not just because of the photo, but because of the woman she saw herself becoming.

“I feel like my confidence can take over the world.”
And this is exactly why I love photographing women.

“Kinakabahan ako.”
Most women are before their first bo***ir photoshoot. You don’t have to walk into the studio already feeling confident. You just have to show up.

The reveal.
That little moment when she finally sees what I’ve been seeing through my camera all along.

“Ako ba talaga ’yan?”
Yes. That’s you. It has always been you. 🤍

A bo***ir photoshoot in the Philippines can feel intimidating, especially when it’s your first time. But at Hello Darling PH, you don’t need to know how to pose or arrive feeling confident. I’ll guide you through the entire bo***ir experience and create a safe space where you can simply be yourself.

For the women searching for a female bo***ir photographer in Manila, Quezon City, or the Philippines—maybe this is your sign. 🤍

For the women who are building something—

A business. A career. A dream. A new version of yourself.

You don’t have to have everything figured out today. Take care of the little things. Do the work in front of you. Keep learning. Keep showing up. Rest when you need to, and don’t forget to take care of the woman behind the dream.

Because what you’re building matters—but so do you.

Look after the little things, and the big things will look after themselves.

One day, you’ll look back and realize those little things were the big things all along.

I wasn’t expecting to cry over a client review today. 🥹🤍

This was shared by one of my previous Hello Darling clients, and reading her words reminded me why I started doing bo***ir in the first place.

Sometimes, we get so busy delivering galleries and moving on to the next shoot that we forget our work can stay with someone long after the session is over. Knowing that our photos helped her see herself differently… that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

Thank you so much for this, and for the beautiful surprise from Emms Viernes of Maria’s Heartfelt Haven. My heart is so full.

If you’re looking for handcrafted fragrances made with so much love, please give Maria’s Heartfelt Haven on fb a follow. Supporting small businesses—especially women-owned ones—means so much.

Here’s to women supporting women, always. 🫶🏻🤍
