Hello! We are PCL Pictures, a group of student filmmakers from STI College Cubao, working on our upcoming 15-minute short film, 'Double Exposure', which will be presented in a dual split-screen format.

Logline: During a batch reunion party, high school sweethearts Ellis and Cali quietly end their nearly decade-long relationship, starting parallel journeys through loneliness, memory, and the uncertain process of moving on from a love that relied more on being close than on being present.

PCL Pictures presents 'Sa Duyan Ng Gunita' (In The Cradle of Memory'

Amidst Typhoon Kading in 1978, set against the backdrop of martial law in the Philippines, college friends, Luis and Angelica, find shelter in an abandoned house following a rally dispersal. With police forces lingering around, the raging storm outside, and a single candle lighting up their small refuge, they find an old, dusty chessboard.

They play with each move that mirrors their personal and sociopolitical struggles, confronting triggering memories, fears, and the frail hope of a future under an authoritarian environment.

Their quiet seclusion portrays the resilience and resistance of the youth in challenging the system and the bonds that endure the bullets of state brutality and uncertainty.
