UP Aperture is a duly-recognized university-wide photojournalism organization based in the College of Mass Communications, University of the Philippines-Diliman. It believes that photography and photojournalism should serve the people by showing social realities instead of being "art for art's sake". ineda, UP Aperture has constantly been one with the basic masses in their plight for genuine social change. UP Aperture documented several events such as mass mobilizations, both within and outside UP-Diliman Campus, fora and other socially-related events.
