Referencing the work of
Hugh Steers; an american painter whose work showcased the struggle of our community at the peak of AIDS epidemic in the 1980s and 1990s in an intimate, full of love, yet heartbreaking paintings.

Hugh Steers died of AIDS in 1995.
He was 32.

We want to take this moment to honor our brothers and sisters in the community that we have lost in the fight against HIV and AIDS, then and now. The stigma is our number one enemy.

• There are now more available options to keep yourself protected from HIV such as PREP and PEP.
• People living with HIV can still live a long, normal, and healthy life with the regular medication and support of their healthcare provider.
• With the continious medication people living with
HIV can reach the level of being Undetectable =
Untransmittable

This September marks a full year since I began my journey in Manila, carving out my own path in this industry.

It's been an incredible experience filled with opportunities and meaningful connections. I’m beyond grateful because, in just one year, I already have my first work published in print, and it’s for September Issue Fashion Editorial!

The birthplace of the Budots Phenomenon is in Mindanao’s dynamic culture. Budots dances, which involve sweeping hand movements and gyrating motions, preceded the music, according to Sherwin Tuna, better known as DJ Love, who spoke about the genre in the 2019 documentary “Budots: The Craze.”
