Empowering the next generation through Filipino Martial Arts 🇵🇭🥋

Students of **National Teachers College** recently participated in a **Sports Arnis Seminar** conducted by **Coach Joevanni Fajanil**, an Arnis Instructor and Physical Education Teacher from Ateneo. Coach Fajanil is also a former coach of the **Philippine Arnis Anyo Team**, bringing with him a wealth of experience and deep knowledge of our national martial art.

The seminar was made even more engaging with the support and assistance of the **Abenir Kalis instructors**, who helped guide the students through the fundamentals of sports arnis, discipline, and the cultural heritage behind the art.

Through activities like this, we continue to promote **Arnis as both a sport and a living tradition**, inspiring students to appreciate Filipino culture while developing skill, focus, and confidence.

This course is taught by Ramie “Tex” Gonzaga, a licensed professional cutman, professional boxing coach, and former professional boxer with real fight experience.

This is not a generic seminar and it is not widely available. This training is offered only by EAFMMAO and built around the actual demands of MMA competition. From proper cut management to decision making under pressure, this course prepares you for the realities inside the cage.
