Pic of the trip here in tulamben with Gede Ardha and Amie Ryalls. More to come, but here is a very juvenille Tiger Shrimp, you can guess where it got its name from. This one was very small, about 1cm in length.

There is something super cute about Pygmy Seahorses that mean you always have to go check them out when diving in the right area. This one looks like it's pouting. I think it needs it own insta account now lol

Bucket list photo! I have been waiting to get this shot for so long! This is a juvenille Longfin Batfish. The batfish is a very common fish, and looks completely different. The juvenile however takes on this black look with a very bright red/orange frame along its body. It's designed to look like a flatworm when young to stop predators eating it. Very clever!

It does however present a fabulous photo opportunity and I have been waiting to get the chance to photograph one, and now I have it. This picture will be hanging up in the house soon for sure!

Thanks again to Gede Ardha for bring me to it.

Today, here is a picture of a butterfly nudibranch which is quite rare here in Tulamben and the dive guide Gede Ardha did well to spot them.

They are hard to shoot as they are almost always moving and are very small. This one was about 1cm tall. So trying to take a picture with a macro lens and a very strong diopter (magnifying lens) is a challenge in itself!

To celebrate Fathers Day at the weekend, here is a shot of a male Cardinal fish who protects the eggs by holding them in its mouth while waiting for them to hatch. They occasionally spit them out to aerate them before putting them back in again.

Happy everyone. Let’s do what we can to look after them

Sorry about the lack of posting, I promise I will get back to more photo work soon! In the meantime my friend reminded me of this pic, so here it is. A yellow Goby living on some green plastic underwater.

Love the patterns of this flatworm, so colourful

Apologies for the lack of posting recently. We have just moved to the UK and my MAC that I edit with is still in transit. I have lots of photos to edit but no tools to do it with. Soon normal service will be resumed!

At the airport after a fun two weeks of shooting. Soooo many photos to edit, they will keep me busy for a while! This is one of my favourite shots of the trip. It's a couple of cms in length and it was one of the many cool things seen in Romblon. Divers, get yourselves down to Romblon, you will love it
