The Hangaway kag Lin-ay sang Capiz 2026
editorial captures more than just a moment; it captures a movement of cultural reclamation. This shoot serves as a visual love letter to the Capiznon spirit, stripping away the superficial to focus on the raw essence of appreciation and identity. By placing the ceremonial mace the symbol of leadership and the weapon of the protector at the center of the frame, the images evoke a deep-seated pride that has been passed down through generations.

This year's showcase is a historic union, bringing together the unique narratives of all 16 municipalities and the capital city of Roxas. From the upland heights of Tapaz to the coastal shores of Sapian, and every vibrant community in between Cuartero, Dao, Dumalag, Dumarao, Ivisan, Jamindan, Maayon, Mambusao, Panay, Panitan, Pilar, Pontevedra, President Roxas, and Sigma each participant carries the weight of their local history within the lens.
