A celebration made even more meaningful by the people who showed up. 🌈
From different communities, professions, organizations, and walks of life, everyone added their own color to the day. It was a celebration of authenticity, shared joy, and the simple act of standing together in support. Every smile, conversation, and step along the route became part of a memorable day.
I'm grateful to have been entrusted as the personal photographer of Lakambini ng Kalinga, Teacher Phil, capturing his moments throughout the celebration. Thank you for the trust and for allowing Karlo Studio to preserve these memories.🌈🌿🍂

Not every story begins the way it's planned.
Just hours before the procession, the Consorte tried on his made-to-order attire and discovered something wasn't right. It didn't fit properly, and the design wasn't even the one they had chosen at the designer's shop. Whether it was a mix-up or someone else's outfit, nobody really knew.
What stood out was how calmly he handled it.
Instead of letting it derail the day, they headed to the next town in search of a replacement—something that would fit well and still complement the Reyna's gown.
My assignment was simple: document the Reyna de las Flores and her Consorte.
I arrived at the church as the Mass was already underway. For a while, it was just the Reyna in front of my camera.
Then, later, the Consorte arrived.
The moment they saw each other, they shared a smile.
It was a small moment, easy to miss, but one that seemed to put the challenges of the morning behind them.
Sometimes, the stories worth remembering aren't the ones where everything goes according to plan. They're the ones where unexpected challenges appear, and people choose to carry on with patience, grace, and a smile. ✨❄

There was sadness in the room, but also warmth — the kind that only comes from a life lived long and remembered well.

At 95, Lola Dol carried stories, humor, and a sharpness that many of us admired. She was one of those people who made you feel welcome without trying too hard. Back in our teenage years, their house became part of our memories too.

The last time I saw her, we were just teenagers spending afternoons at their home. Decades passed quietly, and the next time we met again, I was standing behind a camera at her funeral — documenting the goodbye of a woman who had once been part of our younger days.

Some photographs are not about grand moments. Sometimes, they are simply about remembering someone kind.🍂🌿
