Not every story begins the way it's planned.
Just hours before the procession, the Consorte tried on his made-to-order attire and discovered something wasn't right. It didn't fit properly, and the design wasn't even the one they had chosen at the designer's shop. Whether it was a mix-up or someone else's outfit, nobody really knew.
What stood out was how calmly he handled it.
Instead of letting it derail the day, they headed to the next town in search of a replacement—something that would fit well and still complement the Reyna's gown.
My assignment was simple: document the Reyna de las Flores and her Consorte.
I arrived at the church as the Mass was already underway. For a while, it was just the Reyna in front of my camera.
Then, later, the Consorte arrived.
The moment they saw each other, they shared a smile.
It was a small moment, easy to miss, but one that seemed to put the challenges of the morning behind them.
Sometimes, the stories worth remembering aren't the ones where everything goes according to plan. They're the ones where unexpected challenges appear, and people choose to carry on with patience, grace, and a smile. ✨❄
