I’ve been deep in the keyboard scene since 2019, collecting, testing, and appreciating everything from niche builds to statement pieces. And every now and then, something comes along that just hits different. This one? Easily S-Tier in my collection.

The Bays60 x Bays Pad by Deadline Studio combo brings this clean retro-futuristic energy that instantly stood out to me. It feels like a modern take on a typewriter where vintage inspiration meets refined, intentional design. Definitely a conversation starter.

From the tactile typing experience to the thoughtful layout and matching pad, everything feels cohesive and well-executed. The build quality is solid, the aesthetic is on point, and it’s clear that a lot of detail went into making this more than just a keyboard, it’s a true desk setup statement piece.

For the past four years, full-size felt like a forgotten layout.
Everyone chased smaller footprints. Cleaner desks. Less keys, more minimal.

But around Q4 of 2025, something shifted.

Brands started revisiting compact full size, not as a safe option, but as a deliberate one. And Akko was part of that conversation.
