The Mater Dei Academy Multimedia Arts Club (MDA-MAC) was established through the vision and initiative of the Central Student Council (CSC) Batch 2022–2023, led by former CSC President Mr. Christopher Irei C. Mendoza and CSC Adviser Mr. Jerry A. Espineda, LPT. Under the guidance of its founding President, Allaine B. Mendoza, the club built its foundation by acting as the school’s primary documentation team for major campus events.
Navigating its inception during the tail end of the pandemic, the club faced early hurdles—particularly in member recruitment due to ongoing health and safety restrictions. Nevertheless, MAC persevered under strict health protocols to serve both the student body and the broader community.
Building upon Allaine’s legacy, her successors Chelsea Sarmiento and Earl Lawrence Fadirugao served as key figures in sustaining and deepening the club’s tradition of photojournalism and event coverage.
A vital turning point in the club's structural growth began during the 2023–2024 school year under CSC President Gene Roselyn Angeles, when the MDA-CSC initiated registration with the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of Sta. Maria, Bulacan. Building on this foundation, Earl Lawrence Fadirugao spearheaded the vital effort to officially register the club with both the LYDO and the National Youth Commission (NYC), carried out under the guidance of CSC Presidents Keith Estipular (2024–2025) and Kurt Erin Valenzuela (2025–2026). These institutional breakthroughs brought sweeping organizational reforms, strengthening MAC and unlocking broader horizons.
Throughout its journey, MDA-MAC has actively supported the campus community through promotional design and photojournalism. However, recognizing that creative expression extends beyond traditional event coverage, the club identified a growing need to empower artists in digital media—such as blogging, vlogging, graphic design, and digital art.
To bridge this gap and provide a vibrant platform for all student creators, the club formally launched its dedicated social media space on July 20, 2026—a milestone officially approved and recognized by the MDA Central Student Council and Mater Dei Academy.
