Today was a quiet reminder that God’s timing is always right on schedule. I was literally down to my last bandage for my foot—which has felt like a month-long lockdown while healing from an infected burn and debridement. Then, out of nowhere, help arrived.
It wasn’t just the medical supplies I desperately needed; it came wrapped in so much warmth—pastries, durian, and lanzones.
It makes me reflect: How can people who are going through so much themselves still give so abundantly to others?
My friend is still recovering after surviving the ship bombing during the Hormuz conflict. By all rights, he and his wife have every reason to focus solely on their own healing. Yet, despite their own heavy trauma and recovery, they still thought of me. They still extended their hands to help.

It is truly amazing to find people like this in a world that often teaches us to hold on to everything for ourselves.

"Di man ta si Darna permi—nami man nga ginakamusta." (We can't always play the hero—it feels so good to be checked on, too.)

Ever since my Tatay passed away, they have consistently been the first ones to rescue me. Through every trial, even when their own lives are full of storms, they never forget to check in, to pray, and to give without expecting anything in return. They remind me that true kindness still exists.

Thank you for always being there. Thank you for showing me what true friendship looks like when the rest of the world feels heavy.
God bless you both even more. Praying for full recovery for all of us, mga megs. 🙏✨

God is already writing the outcome while we’re exhausting ourselves trying to figure out the script. Overthinking, doubting, asking "how"—and then He steps in and reminds us He had it handled the entire time. Trust the timing, let go of the control, and watch Him work.

When life decides to steer, but at least the vibes are top-tier.💨 Trusting the process, letting go of what I can’t control, and enjoying the ride. 💪

Sometimes, healing doesn't happen the way we expect.

There are days when the wound looks better, and there are days when it feels like you've gone backwards. Some mornings you wake up hopeful. Other days, you're frustrated because you're still not where you want to be.

I've learned that healing isn't measured by how fast you recover. It is measured by the courage to keep going, even when progress feels slow.

My foot is still healing, and so am I. This experience has reminded me to slow down, to be patient with my body, and to appreciate the little victories: less pain, a few more comfortable steps, another day without giving up.

If you're recovering from an illness, an injury, or something people can't even see, I hope you remember this:

You're not behind. You're healing.

And that's enough for today. 🤍

Be the reason someone believes in goodness again. Not because you're perfect, but because you choose to be kind even when you have every reason not to. True strength is staying gentle in a world that gives you every reason to be hard. ✨

So sad I won't be able to make it out tomorrow, but the spirit of the festival is always worth celebrating. See you next year, Tnalak! 🎭✨

"For the foundations of the earth are the Lord's, and on them He has set the world..."
— 1 Samuel 2:8

An earthquake has a way of instantly reminding us of how small we are and how fragile the ground beneath us can be. It’s a literal shake-up that strips away the illusion of control in a matter of seconds.

But there is a deep comfort in knowing that the forces that move mountains are the same ones that keep us grounded. When everything else is shifting, we're held by something far more permanent.

Waking up safe, feeling the ground steady beneath your feet, and getting another day to just breathe - that is never something to take for granted. It is a very good day to wake up.

Stay safe, friends!

Driving in the rain reminds me that even the darkest skies eventually clear. Until then, I’ll keep moving forward. 🌧️🚗
