The heart does not forget what the brain does.
What if the person who breathed life in you has lost the ability to remember you?
Individuals with Alzheimer's disease have difficulty recalling and comprehending things. This is the reality of impermanence in this mundane world.
As you become older, you reach a point in your life when your memories are like ashes in the wind. What was carved in the heart as those memories faded, however, will never be forgotten. There will always be hymn that will help the heart remember what was utterly lost in the fog of the mind.
