Boholana was never just about costumes. It was a platform.
A celebration of Bohol’s heritage, culture, and the undeniable brilliance of local creatives, brought to life through craftsmanship, storytelling, and pride woven into every detail.

This February, as the Philippines celebrates National Arts Month, we stand with the nation in honoring artists, designers, and culture bearers who keep our stories alive through art and tradition. What began as a tribute to where we come from became a statement of what local talent can achieve on the national stage.

And in the end, Boholana stood tall, winning Best National Costume Competition, as awarded by Pageant Awards Philippines.
A win for the arts. A win for creatives. A win for Bohol.

Katigbawan Warrior

Katigbawan is a feast for human and spiritual satisfactionfrom the visayan word, “katagbawan” and a combination of the works “Katigbi”, a kind of grass where Catigbian got its name, “Tigbaw”, visayan word of cave, and “kabawan”, that makes Catigbian different from other towns in Bohol , being the home of the largest livestock auction market in the region.
