Grasshopper Frontal Shot
Finally I've done with the double diffusion and the tunnel diffusion. I may say I've eliminated the specular reflection on reflective part of the insect by introducing reflective diffusion on both flashes. Flashes were firing on DIY barrel diffuser made out of plastic jar. The jar was lined with crumpled aluminum sheet as internal diffuser and place acrylic diffuser in front. The subject was further placed inside a diffusing tunnel made of a plastic jar.

Tested the newly revised focus stacking rail. Linear bearing guide was used and driven by stepper motor and capable of 1 micron step. A major improvement on stability and precision.

Lucky to have a very interesting subject tonight 'cause it crawls on the floor of the studio. This insect is called "Suhong" in this part of Southern Tagalog. It is a crawling insect and thrives on farm land. When it rains and their habitat flooded they come out of their habitat.

Extreme Macro photo shot of a wild flower. Subject is 5 mm in diameter and had to magnify it to 6X to see the details of the tiny bloom of flowers within the flower.
