A Prayer for Earthquake Victims through the Sto. Niño
O Señor Santo Niño, King and God, we turn to you, our miraculous Child Jesus, the loving Patron of our islands. We worship your sacred image and seek your powerful intercession in this time of great need.
We commend to your most tender mercy all those affected by the recent earthquake.

We pray that, through your wounds, you may grant eternal rest to all those who have perished in this tragedy. Console the hearts of their families and loved ones. Be their strength, their refuge, and their greatest comfort in their sorrow.

Lay your all-powerful healing hand upon the injured, the sick, and those still trapped or missing. Protect the weary rescuers and all those who risk their lives to find and save others. Grant them courage, speed, and success in their mission.

Look down with compassion upon those who have lost their homes, their livelihoods, and their security. You are the defender of the poor and the weak; be their shelter from every danger and calamity. Inspire generous charity and true solidarity in the hearts of your people, that no one may be left alone in their suffering.

O Holy Child, we know that all the elements of nature obey your command. In your infinite power, we humbly implore you: steady the ground beneath us and restore calm to our trembling hearts. Deliver us from all fears and disasters, and grant us enduring peace.
Señor Santo Niño, help us.
Señor Santo Niño, protect us.
Señor Santo Niño, have mercy on us.
Grant this, O little King, in your holy Name. Amen.
