Fresh graduates across Sindh have intensified their protest against the continued extension of the old PST and JEST waiting list. Candidates from 2022 to 2025 say they were never given a chance to appear in the recruitment test, as the 2021 list continues to be extended. Many are now nearing the upper age limit, increasing frustration among educated youth demanding merit-based opportunities.
Protesters have urged Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah to immediately stop extending the old list and announce fresh recruitment under SNE 2026–27. They insist that a transparent process is needed to ensure fairness for all eligible candidates.
According to graduates, over 90,000 jobs have already been filled through the 2021 test. After three years of waiting list extensions and an additional six-month delay, continuing the same system is unfair to fresh graduates who have been left out.
They also highlighted that candidates who passed the IBA Grade 5 to 15 test nearly three years ago are still waiting for appointments. Fresh graduates are demanding a new PST and JEST test, a clear recruitment policy, and an end to the prolonged waiting list system.
