Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged intending Hajj pilgrims to complete mandatory Saudi biometric verification by Sunday, warning that visas will not be issued without it.
Saudi Arabia has allocated Pakistan a quota of 179,210 pilgrims for Hajj 2026, mostly under the government scheme.
Biometric verification can be completed at home via the Saudi Visa Bio app, while those facing issues must visit designated Saudi Tasheer centers before February 8.
Pilgrims over 80 years of age are exempt. The move is part of broader reforms to streamline the Hajj process and prevent mismanagement.
