Tianxia (tien-hsia; Chinese: 天下; literally: "under heaven") is a Chinese language word and an ancient Chinese cultural concept that denoted either the entire geographical world or the metaphysical realm of mortals. It has always been my understanding that everything under this big blue sky is important. Thus everything holds importance and is not useless. Saying that, I embark on a journey to unde
rstand and capture all that exists to inspire us; built by God or moulded by men, it is all but an artwork. With time we have evolved in a strange way. We have changed the concept of beauty, made it limited to those who please our basic senses of smell, sight or touch. And while we are began to search for beauty in the heavens, we ignored what lay around us. Somehow we became far sighted and narrow sighted at the same time. This world, universe or realm is a magnificent collection of stories, and at Tianxia collects them in form of photography.
