Today I visited a farmer who had deposited the Kisan Card payment of PKR 240,000 on time, and as a result of this timely payment he became eligible for several favorable government benefits; he received a diesel subsidy of PKR 12,000 for his 8 acres of cultivated land (calculated at the rate of PKR 1,500 per acre), and he was also included in the government’s Qurandazi scheme, in which prizes such as a tractor, a bike, gold coins, and Umrah tickets are awarded.

Today, I conducted multiple field visits to ensure proper implementation of assigned responsibilities.
First, I visited the Ramzan Nighaban Card distribution center to ensure transparent management and smooth distribution of funds to beneficiaries. The process was monitored carefully to confirm that the system was functioning properly and that people were receiving their payments without any difficulty.After that, I visited a pesticides dealer for routine inspection. The purpose of the visit was to check the availability and quality of pesticides and to ensure compliance with departmental guidelines.
During the field visit to canola crops, aphid infestation was observed; however, the population was below the Economic Threshold Level (ETL). Therefore, no insecticide was recommended at this stage.
I met with farmers and encouraged them to adopt early cotton cultivation for better yield and economic benefits. I am satisfied that I successfully guided and convinced several farmers.

Overall, the visit was productive and beneficial for farmers.
