you don't visit me now/ i never see you in my dreams/you're aware that it's the only place we can meet, yet you choose to stay in the dark/ are you upset with me?/ have you forgotten me?

I have forgotten you.
no, that can't be true/ I've painted my dreams of your favorite color/ but...I don't remember what color they are/ what was your favorite color, 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯?
I no longer remember your voice, yet it echoes in my ears/
when was the last time we spoke? do you remember?/
our last conversation haunts me/ had I held you a little longer, clung onto your sleeve, would it have changed anything? /for separation is a slow poison and I'm half dead/ if you wanted us to stay together, why didn't you take me along that day?
I hold hope like these wilted flowers in my hands/ waiting for some miracle to happen has been tiresome/ all is blur/ I think I should stop believing.
