Last Day in Kalam – Cloudy Skies, Friends’ Fun & Journey Back Home

Our final day in Kalam begins with a fresh, cloudy morning — the mountains wrapped in mist and a soft chill in the air. At around 9 AM, we wake up feeling both excited and a little sad that the trip is coming to an end. Since our packing was already done the night before, we get ready quickly and head out for a delicious breakfast to fuel the day.

After breakfast, we attend a short yet memorable session where some of our seniors share valuable lectures, personal experiences, and travel reflections. It’s a nice moment of learning and bonding before we bid farewell to this beautiful valley.

Soon, it’s time to check out of the hotel. We load our luggage and make our way to the same coaster that brought us here — now filled with familiar faces, inside jokes, and countless memories. As we begin our journey back, the scenery outside keeps us glued to the windows: tall green mountains, fresh water streams glistening in the daylight, and endless patches of natural beauty passing by.

We make a stop along the way for lunch, enjoying warm food and conversations before getting back on the road. As we approach Swat Tunnel, the vibe inside the coaster takes a fun turn — a few friends start playing a popular Punjabi song by Naseebo Lal, and soon enough, the bus is full of dancing, clapping, and laughter. The energy is infectious, and everyone joins in, making the long ride feel much shorter.

Eventually, the mountains start to fade in the distance, and we arrive at our final destination. With hearts full of joy and cameras full of memories, we close the chapter on our Kalam Tour 2025 — a trip filled with nature, friendship, fun, and moments we’ll never forget.

Mahodand Lake Adventure – Boating, Photoshoots & Last Night in Kalam | Day 02 | Part 03

After an exciting journey through Kalam Valley, we finally arrived at the mesmerizing Mahodand Lake — a paradise surrounded by towering mountains, crystal-clear waters, and pure serenity. 🌊🏔️

Our adventure began with a fun-filled boating ride 🚤, sharing laughs, inside jokes, and capturing unforgettable memories with friends from Sindh, Lahore, and Mirpur. The lake’s cool breeze and peaceful vibes made the experience even more magical.

Once we returned from boating, we enjoyed some snacks and spent relaxing moments by a calm canal nearby — chatting, taking photos, and soaking in the natural beauty. 📸 From there, we made our way to the back side of Mahodand Lake, where a huge chashma (spring) gushed down from the mountains, creating an incredible backdrop for videos and reels. The sound of rushing water and the mist in the air felt refreshing and energizing.

As the day turned to evening, it was time to say goodbye to Mahodand. We began our return journey straight to Kalam for our final dinner in the valley. This being our last night in Kalam, emotions were high — we took a short walk through the bazaar (not in the vlog) for some shopping and souvenirs.

Later that night, due to low network coverage in the town, we climbed up to a high point where the internet signal was strong 📶. There, under the dark sky and light drizzle 🌧️, we stayed till late — updating our friends and family through WhatsApp statuses, sharing the beauty of our journey one last time.

This vlog is not just about places — it’s about the laughter, the friendships, the peaceful moments by the water, and the bittersweet feeling of saying goodbye to Kalam Valley. Join us in reliving every moment of this unforgettable day in Day 2 Part 3 of the Kalam Tour 2025 series.
