Dzisiejszego dnia mieliśmy niepowtarzalną okazję uczestniczyć w 6 etapie Tour de Pologne, który odbył się w malowniczych Katowice - oficjalny profil miasta 😍📸Przedostatni etap, to jazda indywidualna na czas na dystansie 16.6 km. Katowicka trasa przebiegała ulicami ścisłego centrum miasta, pokazując przemianę stolicy Górnego Śląska, w tym Rynek z charakterystycznymi palmami, czy też strefa kultury, gdzie przed laty działała Kopalnia Katowice. Na jej miejscu są teraz siedziby Muzeum Śląskie, Narodowej Orkiestry Symfonicznej Polskiego Radia oraz Międzynarodowe Centrum Kongresowe w Katowicach. Kolarze mieli okazję także przejechać przez unikalny Nikiszowiec oraz Dolinę Trzech Stawów, które obrazują jak zielone są Katowice 🌳
Today we had a unique opportunity to take part in Stage 6 of the Tour de Pologne, which took place in the picturesque city of Katowice 😍📸 The penultimate stage was an individual time trial covering a distance of 16.6 km. The Katowice route passed through the streets of the city center, showcasing the transformation of the capital of Upper Silesia, including the Market Square with its characteristic palm trees, as well as the cultural zone where the Katowice Coal Mine used to operate. In its place now stand the headquarters of the Silesian Museum, the National Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio, and the International Congress Center in Katowice. The cyclists also had the opportunity to ride through the unique Nikiszowiec and the Three Ponds Valley, which illustrate how green Katowice is 🌳
