4 AM. March 16.
The city behind me is perfectly silent, its lights dimmed, its streets empty. But up here, the sky is anything but quiet. The wind bites like ice, and the universe stretches wide open.
There’s something truly transformative about standing alone under the Milky Way. Every freezing gust reminded me just how small we are, and how vast the silence of space really is. My fingers were numb, but my mind had never felt clearer. No noise, no distractions, just the staggering scale of the stars above.
This was my first real solo night session, and it definitely won’t be my last. Just me, the cold, and the Milky Way arching across the dark.
