Today's photo is one of my favourites. I took this picture during my trip to Lisbon about a year ago. Originally I planned to take this shot from the observation deck situated at the top of the Christ the King monument 192 metres above the Tagus river. However when I reached the place, I find out that I dramatically missed the closing hours. Imagine my anger at myself at this situation... :-) I was about to come back to the hotel but then I saw a narrow dirt road in the distance. Nevertheless I had nothing else to do so I decided to go for a short walk. After less than fifteen minutes I came to the small abandoned fishing harbor at the Tagus river. This place was just incredible and the view on the 25th April Bridge during the sunset even beter! What you can see below :-) Enjoy it! :-)

Couple years ago I decided to create a list of places to see before I die. The first place which I pinned to my list was Casa de Santa Maria in Cascais, Portugal. What doesn't seem to be a big surprise... because this place is just amazing! As you can see I've already crossed it out :-) However it wasn't that easy. When I've reached the place for the first time, I was totally disapointed because of the rainy and windy weather. That's why I've completely changed my visting plans in Portugal and after few days I came back to Cascais. This time luck was definitely on my side what you can see below :-) Enjoy it! :-)

Hello to everybody! After my last B&W shot from Warsaw which I posted here last week I want to show you the colorful taste of Malta called Luzzu. You are looking at the front of traditional fishing boat from this small Mediterranean country. Over the years these boats were brightly painted in shades of yellow, red, green and blue. Additionally every bow of these boats was painted or carved with a pair of Eyes of Osiris what was believed to protect them from danger on the sea. The town of Marsaxlokk is especially famous for the large numbers of Luzzu and this is exactly that place where I found my pair of Eyes of Osiris :-) Enjoy your time! :-)

Welcome back to everybody! It's been a while since my last update here... However I am back :-) and today I am pleased to show you The Royal Palace in Wilanów, Warsaw. As I remember there was one of those days when you have nothing to do at all. The day was coming to it's end so I spontaneously took my DSLR camera, tripod, couple other things and went out. The first bus which arrived to my bus stop ended its route in Wilanów. I didn't think to much and after 30 minutes I was on the place. The sky and the light was just amazing. The Polish golden autumn showed all its charm. Enjoy it!

The idea of shooting this photo was born in my mind couple months ago. I tried several times to make it. However there was always something wrong. First time the light was terrible, second time the weather was awful, yet another time someone hanged a huge banner ad on the facade of the castle. Finally beautiful golden October came to Poland. I decided to take a day-off in my work, and went to the Castle Square at the very early morning. The view was just amazing and the light was breathtaking! I tried to capture it as best as I could, what you can see below :-)

About three years ago I decided to visit all capitals of 28 countries constituting the European Union. My first choice was the capital city of Slovakia and to be honest... it was very good decision :-) Bratislava just surpassed my expectations. On the photo which I shared with you today I tried to show all the best from that city :-) However it wasn't that simple. I shot this picture from the Old Bridge (Starý Most) which was incredibly shaking. What was caused by the running fans of the early evening jogging :-) Anyway, enjoy your time and consider visiting Bratislava :-)

Have you ever wonder how the end of the continent looks like? Because I do! And what is more I was able to realize my dream last spring. I flew to Lisbon, Portugal, rent a car and went to the Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca) - the westernmost point of the European continent. When I have reached the place, I was totally disapointed because of the rainy and windy weather. Luckily there was more or less 15 minutes gap when the sun was beautifuly shining at the late afternoon... the results you can see below :-) Enjoy your time! :-)
