There are spaces where nothing happens, yet everything feels suspended. I’m drawn to these "in-between" moments — neither arrival nor departure, just the quiet tension of being held in time.

This shot is part of my series, Waiting, a study of presence over certainty.

There’s a quiet power in streets that don’t try to be remarkable. I caught this while walking without a map — the kind of stroll where you stop noticing time and start noticing the light. These spaces don’t need to be "something" to be felt.

Part of Quiet Streets — an ongoing series of ordinary places and in-between moments.

I remember this street because nothing was happening.
And still — it felt full.

People often think a photograph needs an event.
Something dramatic. Something decisive.
But what I am drawn to is the opposite.

The pause between movements.
The breath before something changes.
The space where nothing demands attention — and yet everything speaks.

This image was taken in Medellín, Colombia, during one of my long walks without a plan. I was not looking for anything specific that day.
Which is usually when I find the most.

There is a kind of honesty in empty streets.
They don’t perform - they just exist.

And sometimes that is enough.

Part of an ongoing series Quiet Streets — an archive of ordinary moments that stay longer than expected.

Limited fine art prints are available via link in comments.

There is a specific kind of silence I’m always looking for.

Not the absence of sound — but the moment when the world stops asking to be noticed.

I think that’s why I photograph in black and white. It removes the distraction of everything unnecessary and leaves only what actually stays with me.

A shadow on a wall.
A person waiting for something that never arrives.
A street that feels like it has already happened.

Most of these moments are not important.
And that is exactly why I am drawn to them.

Because I believe beauty is not rare — it is just usually overlooked.

I don’t take photographs to document places.
I take them to understand how it feels to be present inside them.

If these moments stay with you, selected works are available as limited edition fine art prints.

I took this photo in the Yungay district, just a few steps away from the Museum of Memory & Human Rights. While the museum tells the loud and heavy story of Chile’s past, outside on the streets, I found this — a moment of absolute stillness.

This is the Chile I experienced. It’s a place of deep layers, where even the most unassuming corner feels like a long, quiet breath. I’ve always felt that my camera is a tool for understanding these subtle rhythms, finding peace in the textures of the city.

This quiet frame from Chile is now part of my limited edition print collection. Hand-signed, museum quality. Link in comments to see the full series ✨

There’s something haunting about flipping through Chas Gerretsen’s 1970s Chile — the tension, the protests, the raw emotion frozen in black and white, still vibrating decades later.

But the Chile I carry is different. Quiet. Still. A moment suspended far from the chaos.
Same place, completely different stories.

This week, I’m sharing mine — the Chile where I found calm.

What is your favorite photography book? I am deeply inspired by this reportage style. More about my influences in my Studio Letter via link in bio.

Stay close for my personal perspective on Chile later this week. ✨

A quiet story from Barichara.
The mid-day heat in Colombia is something you have to respect. I found this patch of cool shade, a perfect tiled floor, and took my coffee slow. I captured this moment of stillness on film because I knew I’d need to remember it.

Sometimes, the most ordinary moments are the ones that hold the most peace. It's a gentle reminder from my motto: finding beauty in ordinary things. In the end, everything can wait.

Bring a piece of this Colombian quiet into your own space. I invite you to explore my collection of limited edition prints, standard on Hahnemühle paper. Full gallery and Studio Letter via link in comments.

I took this photo in Cartagena, right at that blue hour when the heat of the day finally begins to settle. I remember sitting there, watching the sea, and feeling an immediate sense of relief. In that moment, the world felt incredibly quiet.

This week, I’ve been feeling that same deep craving to slow down. My schedule is full, but my mind is back on that stone wall in Colombia, where the only thing that mattered was the rhythm of the water.

It’s a reminder of my simple motto: finding beauty in ordinary things. A concrete ledge, a distant lamp post, and a vast horizon — nothing fancy, just a moment of pure, uninterrupted presence. Sometimes, "slowing down" isn't a luxury; it's a necessity to keep seeing the beauty around us.

This moment of South American silence is available as a limited edition fine art print, standard on museum-quality paper. I invite you to slow down by bringing this frame into your space. Details via link in comments.

Time to relax.
Found this quiet spot in Santiago and couldn't resist the scene. No rush, no noise — just a moment of stillness captured on 35mm.

Captured on film during my time in Chile.

Starting the week with some monochrome memories from Cartagena. I love the textures on these walls; film always seems to pick up the details that digital misses.

Have a great week ahead!

Walking through old familiar streets with a roll of black and white film. I found these quiet corners and just had to wait for the light to settle.
It’s moments like these — finding stillness and stories right at my own front door — that always remind me to have my camera with me, not only during my travels. ✨

Captured on film in my hometown of Warsaw. 📸
