8 Years ago married this beautiful woman who absolutely transformed my life from meandering to giving me a life and bringing from my comfort zone in Australia to the other side of the world and ending up here in Puerto Rico.

Almost 9 years ago we met in our families little Greek village in the mountains of Rhodes, me from Australia her visiting with her father. Both our families closely tied to the village and interrelated yet we never knew till we met outside the church in the village square.

Followed by a whirlwind 3 weeks where I followed her to the US and then by some miracle she decided to leave her life in the US come to Australia and it all jiust happened

engaged a few months later in new Zealand and then back to Rhodos Greece to get married in our village.

And then we had to plan, got to the US and the rest is history.

Been one hell of a journey and I'm beyond grateful for everything she has done and given me in life.

One of my clients and followers reached out to me on Friday to let me know she had a friend who had a calico kitten for adoption.

After some back and forward

Went to "Servicios Veterinarios de Ceiba"

First I gotta say the staff at this place for the absolutely sweet and very kind and obviously love what they do

This little kitten was brought to them apparently a 2 weeks old and not in very good health and they fostered her for the last few months

We miss our kitties but this does help fill the hole they left

She's definitely a real Puerto Rican calico with all the s***k.

As people know I've had an awful run with mechanics here on the island and thanks to other mechanics stupidity lies scams and competence I've lost over $20,000 in cars in my last couple years not to mention lost work and delays on top of that.

With my recent car dramas my neighbour who's been following me how quite some time Johannie Ortiz Rodríguez kindly reached out and told me about their business Fantasma Tire Center & Mecánica & Muffler Shop In Fajardo on PR3

Quickly organised the tow truck it took it over to their mechanic

Honestly awesome people to deal with honest ethical and deserve every bit of business they get

Their mechanic clearly loves and understands cars

Gave me a completely honest feedback of what's wrong what's going to cost and what was a good idea to do or not to do in the end it was just too expensive to fix and decided had to send it to the scrap yard

I respect that honesty and integrity people who are not just trying to make a buck but actually give good honest service

They definitely deserve the business and thank you so much

And also hot tip do not get yourself a Nissan Pathfinder built between 2005 - 2010 they have all sorts of factory issues with the motor with the timing chains, The catalytic converters and the transmissions and they are not cheap to fix or easy the timing chain is a nightmare....

Sneak peek on a project I've been working on for the last 3 months

I originally said it I take a month or so but I underestimated a lot of the tedious finishing work and other things that didn't quite go to plan.

Client wanted a micro cement floor and micro cement bathroom walls and a concrete style custom-made vanity.

Along with natural wood for the bathroom ceiling to create a rustic look.

Took a bit of work a lot of lessons on the way learnt but we are there!!

Still waiting for the client to get the windows which can finish everything and I can take some really professional photos but happy to show you is all the fruits of the labour

So imagine some clueless nepo baby Hollywood producer and his lifetime director buddy get together to make some autobiographical films about iconic Puerto Ricans like Raul Julia, bad bunny etc played by people who are not remotely Puerto Rican

You all would be absolutely pi**ed and rightfully so you know! Feeling like your culture has been insulted deeply

So like I think that movie the Odyssey is opening today and it blows my mind not one of the main cast is Greek let alone even look Greek

I mean Matt Damon does not look one bit greek

I would have cast Bad Bunny into the role at least he actually looks a hell of a lot more Greek than Matt Damon could ever pretend to be

Either way that's all I'm just another voice shouting out about it but reality is the film will go and make money or go win a bunch of Oscars in a big industry circle jerk celebration where friends at each other on the back and everyone moves on their lives

I'm contemplating doing a weekly 20 minute live show in the future coming months

Not sure no agenda no idea what should really talk about but maybe I can just talk 20 minutes about my day or my week I don't know

Maybe you can be interactive and other people can be interviewed or something I have no idea but I was thinking maybe fun to do something

Can talk about my weekly lived experience day-to-day regular run-of-the-mill life here on the island

I can talk about what we ate for lunch and dinner

Of anyone who actually follows me who would be interested in me doing a weekly live? Please let me know give me some ideas what it could even talk about that could be interesting and make you want to listen
