Yousef Shakarnah Palestinian Cinematographer & Lecturer, Ph.D in Journalism & Digital media.

YOUSEF Shakarnah, was born in Jerusalem in the Summer of 1989 and has been living in Bethlehem ever since. His relationship with the camera is a passionate one that has become a driving force behind his photography. He loves to travel and move around between countries and cities that are diverse in their silence and history but always crowded with details, always speaking to these places through his lens. Yousef has a Bachelors degree from Al-Quds University in Jerusalem with a major in television. After graduating he represented Palestine in various international conferences, and works as a freelance director of documentaries as well as a photographer for many outlets.
