Some stories stay with you long after the camera is put away. ✨

This is the story of Maitry and Pratik.

They’ve been together for 10 years, married for 5, and chose the Algarve for a very special chapter of their lives: their last summer as a family of two.

They’re expecting their first baby… but there’s one detail they don’t know yet.

Boy? Girl?

In their culture, they wait until birth to discover the baby’s s*x. And that made me think…

Maybe we’ve become so focused on who the baby will be that we sometimes forget what truly matters: the love that will welcome them into the world.

Watching them embrace this season with so much peace, excitement and tenderness was a beautiful reminder that love always comes before labels.

Clémence and Valentin’s photoshoot began with a touch of shyness mixed with the delicacy of these French couple who came to spend their holidays here in the Algarve.

Whenever I do a photoshoot I know that the first photos will be a little more contained, but even so they will not lose their beauty... it is part of the process, of the delivery. Now I invite you to look at the difference from the beginning of the and I leave there in the last photo of this carousel until I get to the first photo, which was the last photo of the photoshoot, where the two were already completely at ease to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the Algarve.

When Jasmin first contacted me to photograph her family, she described them as a small family.

What I found was a family with enormous hearts, endless energy, and the kind of warmth that instantly makes you feel welcome.

The session began with little Lia feeling shy and a little unsure. She stayed close, observing everything from a safe distance. But as the minutes passed, something beautiful happened. The shy little girl transformed into an adventurous spirit, running freely, laughing, and filling the beach with joy.

By the end of the session, she gave me a big high-five, and I honestly think that moment will stay with me for a long time.

Those are the moments that remind me why I do what I do.

Photography is never just about taking pictures. It is about creating a space where families can be themselves, where children can play freely, and where genuine moments become lasting memories.

My heart fills with gratitude when I leave a session knowing that I was not simply photographing people. I was preserving a piece of their story.

Photographing Amanda, Vagner, and little Mia was truly a gift. ✨

It was their first time in the Algarve and as the session unfolded, it became impossible not to notice the love between them. The tenderness, the care, and the quiet ways they looked after one another were present in every gesture.

If I had to choose one word to describe this family, it would be gentleness.

Watching them together felt like witnessing love in its simplest and most beautiful form.

I have no doubt that Mia will grow up carrying two worlds within her heart, a little bit of Brazil and a little bit of Portugal. A bridge between places, stories, and generations.

My wish is that these photographs become part of your family’s story, preserving this season of love exactly as it is now: full of wonder, discovery, and connection.

Mari and Francisco are the kind of couple who light up every room they walk into. Full of energy, connection, and positive vibes, they are living one of the most beautiful chapters of their lives: building a new family together.

Recently engaged, they have already opened their hearts to another special member of their journey, their adorable cat, Nanny 🐾.

Being able to photograph such a meaningful moment reminded me of the courage behind every step we take toward our dreams. The beauty of building, day by day, the life we want to live and the family we choose to create.

Anna and I have so much more in common than just photography.

We are women, photographers, Brazilians, immigrants, and we both come from Minas Gerais, the land of pão de queijo. We grew up in neighboring cities, attended the same school, and despite all the different paths life took us on, we ended up meeting again here in Portugal.

And not just at any moment.

We found each other at a time when we were both beginning to build our dreams.

Some people would call it destiny. I prefer to think of it as connection.

Life has a curious way of bringing together people who vibrate on the same frequency. People who share similar dreams, the courage to start over, and the desire to build something greater than themselves.

This photoshoot was about much more than photographing a fellow photographer. It was about documenting a story that, in many ways, mirrors my own. Two women who crossed oceans in search of new opportunities and found in photography a way to tell stories, preserve memories, and connect with people.

After this day, I left with the feeling that many doors are about to open for both of us. Because when talent, dedication, and purpose come together, the universe has a way of responding.

Some stories begin with a plane ticket.
Others begin with two people learning how to laugh together in front of a camera. 🌊📸

Photographing Niko & Thaisha felt surprisingly easy, even with her shyness and my own nerves leading my very first couple session entirely in English. And somehow, between the sea breeze, quiet moments, and Niko’s endless talent for making her smile, everything simply flowed.

He brought the fun.
She brought the calm.
Together, they turned this session into something soft, genuine, and full of warmth.

And honestly? I couldn’t have asked for a better couple for my first international session at my favorite spot in Albufeira ✨
