This was one of those sessions where everything came together perfectly.

The connection between me and the couple, L&W, felt effortless from the very beginning. Full trust in the photographer, beautiful energy, and the ability to simply enjoy each other while being open to a few gentle directions along the way.

On my side, it was about carefully listening to their wishes and then thoughtfully choosing the beach, the right time of day, and the perfect tide — every detail mattered.

And what I love the most — we planned a slightly longer, two-hour session so we could enjoy the golden hour, sunset, and finally the blue hour with lanterns.

Thank you for this experience. It truly felt like one of those moments where all of us got to live a little piece of our dream in the Algarve.

Joelle and Levi came to Faro for some true quality time — just the two of them, mother and son, leaving the rest of the family at home.

There was something incredibly beautiful in their connection. Present, natural, full of warmth and trust.

And Levi… a little volcano of energy.
Full of joy, curiosity, and the most positive way of seeing the world. A truly wonderful child.

He completely owned the session — the real boss of the day.
And his “Six Seven” moment only confirmed how unexpectedly iconic these numbers have become.

This is a story about my friends — and about what stays with us, and what slowly fades away.

This glass rolling pin has been with Muriel for what feels like forever. It came to her after her neighbour’s mother passed away, and somehow it never left her kitchen since.

Now life feels different. Muriel’s husband is living with dementia, and time has started to lose its usual shape.

And yet, in the middle of all this change, there are still small, solid things — like this rolling pin — holding memories, routines, and fragments of the past together.

Some things pass. Some things remain. And sometimes, it’s hard to tell which is which.

With great honour, my friendship and deep respect to both M & R.
