How to Nail Your Confetti Shot - Just Like Esme & Rowan Did 🎉

There’s nothing quite like a confetti cannon moment. It’s pure magic - joy, movement, colour, and celebration captured in a single frame. Esme & Rowan’s confetti sequence was a total knockout. If you want confetti shots that absolutely slap, here’s what I recommend as your wedding photographer:

1. GO BIG OR GO HOME
Tiny sachets of petals won’t cut it. You want cannons - the kind that make a scene. Think biodegradable white paper or petals with volume and lift. Trust me, more is more.

2. TIMING IS EVERYTHING
Plan it just after the ceremony or as you exit the venue - when energy is high, drinks are flowing, and you’re surrounded by your favourites. Don’t rush it. Pause, breathe, laugh, and let it fly.

3. FACE THE LIGHT
If you want that golden glow and the confetti to sparkle mid-air, make sure you’re backlit by the sun or standing in soft, even shade. I’ll help you find the perfect spot - just trust the process.

4. GET THE GANG INVOLVED
Like Esme & Rowan’s crew, arm your wedding party with confetti cannons and give them the green light to go wild. The bigger the celebration, the better the photo.

5. WALK SLOW, FEEL THE MOMENT
Don’t bolt down the aisle like you’re dodging raindrops - take your time. Smile. Kiss. Dance. Confetti shots work best when you feel the joy, not just stage it.

6. ROCK THOSE SHADES
Bonus tip: sunglasses + confetti = ICONIC. Just look at the vibes in these shots. Enough said.
