When I asked Sarah what made her and Matt choose Flores for their elopement, she said they pretty much zoomed in and out of Google Maps until they found somewhere that felt right. After a few clicks around, they landed on this little island in the Azores in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, covered in lush green hills and cliffsides and what seems to be an endless stream of waterfalls.

Even though it might take at least 4-5 flights and 2 days to get here- it’s beyond worth it. I’m so grateful that Sarah and Matt trusted me to capture such a special moment in their lives. Per usual- I cannot wait for all the film scans, but until then, enjoy some digitals from their beautiful elopement in Flores.
