Trolley drop!

One of the unique things about Lisbon is the amount of trolley routes they have throughout the whole city. Brings such a cool photo op wherever you go as you walk around the city. Love the vibes!

Visiting the Fanal Forest in Madeira was truly a magical experience. Went as early as possible to catch the morning clouds rolling over the hills to get that magical feel in the forest. As the clouds began to lift, we got a nice warm glow as the light was crashing through. Many memorable spots on the whole island, but the Fanal Forest was definitely one of the most unique experiences we had!

These Jevenile Groove Billed Ani’s joined us right outside the lodge during breakfast one day on our trip to the Napo Wildlife Center last April. They were just sitting there preening each other with the morning light splashing in. Had to drop the fork and capture a few shots because they were just so dang cute propped up there side by side! Definitely have the volume up for the video clip and listen to the relaxing sounds of the rainforest. Hard to beat that soothing ambience!

Here’s a glimpse at the beautiful Madeira! So many images I can’t wait to get to, but here are a few I’ve had the time to put together showcasing the wide range of beauty that this island has to offer! From the jagged coastline to the rugged mountain peaks, the landscape here is so dynamic.

Lisbon was not just literally a vibrant city but metaphorically as well. Everyone was so nice, and had such positive energy even from those just going about their day to day life(as you can see by the guy giving me a great photo op as he was taking out the mannequins from the store!)

From the iconic trolley cars, to the beautiful cobblestone work, and the colorful aesthetic lining so many streets, Lisbon did not disappoint.

One of the best spots to watch the sun rise, up at the summit of Haleakala of Maui. Truly feels like a completely different world up there!
