Recently my photo was one of DECADE OF CHANGE's British Journal of Photography Award.
It is now on exhibition at the Belfast Photo Festival. I would love to see it in person Unfortunately I can't go there.
But... The exhibition will be held in October at another international photography festival in Spain. My birthday is on October 4th, no better birthday present than that to be able to see my photo in another country.
What am I asking (LINK BELOW):
You help me to get enough funds to go there and also motivate me to pursue my other photo projects.
What do I give in return:
A printed copy of the awarded image, which deserves to be in one of your walls You have a few options on the perks. If you just want to buy me a coffee, it is also an option
Thanks, Rui
ABOUT THE IMAGE:
In 1992, the Galician village of Aceredo was deliberately flooded and submerged underwater, but every few years when the water levels are low, this eerie 'pueblo' reappears. It all started with an agreement signed in 1968 between the heads of state of Spain and Portugal, Franco and Salazar, to construct the Alto Lindoso Dam. While the dam and the reservoir were great feats of engineering, in order for the project to be possible, it meant that some of the land would have to be lost. Can the constant human change be considered progress?
