"Cascada" was erected by Josep Fontsére and to a small extent by Antoni Gaudí between 1882 to 1888. On the top of the Font de la you can find Quadriga de l'Aurora - an allegory of Aurora with its attributes, truck and carrying the torch in his right hand. The iron sculpture was originally gilded with a layer of fine gold that has been lost over time and have not preserved posterior restorations.
