Today, November 25, 2025, is your last opportunity to submit a presentation, paper, or inspirational talk for the hybrid international conference Women in Film: Leadership, Creativity, and Interdisciplinary Perspectives, organized by Creatrix Fama in partnership with UNATC „I.L. Caragiale”, Bucharest. The conference will take place on December 10–11, 2025, both in Bucharest and online via Zoom.

This edition of Her Story, Her Future focuses on academic presentations, workshops, and talks by women professionals from the film industry, offering a space for dialogue between researchers, artists, psychologists, and industry professionals. Participants can explore topics such as feminist film theory, representation, creative authorship, leadership, mentorship, interdisciplinarity, and community building.

🎬 Tender Realities – A powerful showcase of five short films by emerging Romanian female directors – is being screened today at the European Film Festival Palić, as part of the third edition of Her Story, Her Future.

✨ Curated by filmmaker and researcher Mirona Radu, the selection explores vulnerability, identity and connection — through stories told with sensitivity, courage and artistic clarity.

"We need more female voices in cinema not just for the sake of representation, but for the depth and authenticity with which women tell stories about the world and about themselves. Through this programme, we aim to support these voices and create a real space for dialogue and artistic reflection. I truly believe that female voices can transform not only cinema, but also the way we see the world. Our programme is a gesture of encouragement and trust in that transformation."

🎬 Sâmbăta la Cinema – În inima comunității din Slănic, am cultivat iubirea pentru cinema și am adus împreună oameni prin povești pe marele ecran.

🫶 Her Story, Her Future

Yesterday our mentees had the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience during the panel discussion “Inspiring the next generation” at the Alexandre Trauner ART/Film Festival in Szolnok, Hungary. The discussion was moderated by Mirona Radu, the founder of the mentorship programme.

The speakers discussed their personal journeys in the film industry and the importance of navigating this industry together with a mentor.

We are very grateful to everyone who attended the panel and joined the conversation and we hope you were as inspired by this talk as we were. 💜

We look forward to the last day of the festival - today our mentees will award an honorary prize to a short fiction film directed by a woman. Stay tuned to find out more! ✨

Astăzi este ultima zi de înscrieri la cea de-a doua ediție a programului de mentorat pentru femeile din industria filmului Her Story, Her Future, produs de Creatrix Fama și cofinanțat de Administrația Fondului Cultural Național (AFCN). Am fondat acest program din dorința de a crea oportunități reale de creștere pentru femeile din România care lucrează în domeniul filmului.
Nu ratați șansa de a face parte dintr-o comunitate dinamică de profesioniste dedicate, interesate să se dezvolte holistic, să se sprijine reciproc și să contribuie la o lume mai bună, mai frumoasă și mai inclusivă.

Astăzi, în cadrul celei de-a 31-a ediții a European Film Festival Palić, în Serbia, va avea loc evenimentul inaugural al programului de mentorat pentru femeile din industria filmului, Her Story, Her Future #2.

Evenimentul începe la ora 18:00 și este moderat de cineasta și cercetătoarea Mirona Radu, fondatoarea programului. Industry talk-ul va explora puterea transformativă a mentoratului feminin în industria filmului. Panelul va include discuții despre poveștile care duc la oportunități de creștere personală, provocările cu care se confruntă femeile în propria lor dezvoltare profesională în industria cinematografică, precum și strategiile personale folosite pentru a cultiva încrederea în forțele proprii și asertivitatea.
