⚠️ Public Service Announcement:
Do NOT Buy a Highland Cow ⚠️
(A story from people who absolutely meant well…)

It started quietly.

Four Highlands.
Unregistered.
Just beautiful, fluffy paddock ornaments we adored.

We told ourselves,
“We’re just enjoying them.”
“No plans.”
“Nothing serious.”

Then Molly arrived.

Registered.
Documented lineage.
Purpose.

And suddenly… everything shifted.

Because once you understand what true Highland genetics represent, the history, the hardiness, the centuries of careful breeding you realise this isn’t just about fluffy hair and good photos.

It’s about preserving a breed.

Molly wasn’t just another cow.

She was:
• Correct structure
• Proven bloodlines
• True Highland type
• A responsibility

And that changes you.

You start learning about pedigrees.
You care about breed standards.
You talk about traits like you’re judging at the Royal Show.
You say things like:
“She carries traditional Scottish lines.”
“That temperament is exactly what Highlands are meant to be.”
“We’re preserving the breed properly.”

Now it’s no longer a hobby.

It’s stewardship.

Because these cattle aren’t a trend.
They’re a centuries old breed that deserves to be protected, respected, and bred thoughtfully.

So yes we started with four unregistered Highlands.

But Molly changed it all.

And now?
It’s not about how many we own.

It’s about doing it right.

I’ve now warned you, Highland cattle are addictive! 1 will lead to 25.
