It's been a while since I left Kigali (before Covid-19 and not due to it), but like all places I have lived in, it is always with me; in my heart. Even more so because my husband continues to live there. Being miles away, I cannot take pictures of Kigali. But I had the opportunity after a long time, to tell a story from Kigali thanks to photographer Eric Murinzi who talked to me about emotions, photography, and life.
A candid conversation about a photography of emotions, spotlighting the incredible women who ensure to keep Rwanda clean —a priority 26 years after the genocide.
