BONUS POST! 📍Palacio de bellas artes CDMX Mexico.

🇲🇽🖼️✨ Explorando el arte urbano en el Palacio de Bellas Artes, donde las paredes cuentan historias poderosas me encontré con una pieza maravillosa que se encuentra en el techo del salon principal. Hablo del plafon de Géza Maróti, un vitral enorme que representa al dios griego Apolo y las 9 musas.

🇺🇸🖼️✨ Exploring urban art at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, where the walls tell powerful stories, I came across a wonderful piece on the ceiling of the main hall. I'm talking about Géza Maróti's ceiling, a huge stained-glass window depicting Apollo the Greek god, and the nine muses.

🇲🇽📸 Historia y Arte en Cada Rincón

✨ Dato curioso: Dentro del Palacio Nacional se encuentra una joya poco conocida: una cortina de cristal Tiffany hecha en 1904. ¡Sí, de la misma casa que los famosos vitrales y joyas de Nueva York! Representa el Valle de México y pesa ¡casi una tonelada! Fue traída especialmente para el antiguo Teatro Nacional, que más tarde se convertiría en el Palacio de Bellas Artes, y fue resguardada aquí por años.

🎨 Alberga los impresionantes murales de Diego Rivera, que narran la historia de México desde la época prehispánica hasta el siglo XX.

🧱 El Palacio de Bellas Artes fue diseñado por el arquitecto Adamo Boari y su construcción se inició en 1904, aunque se retrasó debido a la Revolución Mexicana, y finalmente se inauguró en 1934.

🇺🇸📸 History and Art in Every Corner

✨ Fun fact: Inside the National Palace is a little-known gem: a Tiffany glass curtain made in 1904. Yes, from the same house as the famous New York stained-glass windows and jewels! It depicts the Valley of Mexico and weighs almost a ton! It was specially designed for the former National Theater, which would later become the Palace of Bellas Artes, and was kept here for years.

🎨 You'll find Diego Rivera’s epic murals, capturing Mexico’s history from ancient times to the revolution.

🧱 The Palace of Bellas Artes was designed by architect Adamo Boari and its construction began in 1904, although it was delayed due to the Mexican Revolution, and was finally inaugurated in 1934.
