Let’s enjoy the beauty of some habaneros from the kitchen. I got some yellow homegrown habaneros from a friend the other day and here I tried to make a yellow habanero sauce with them. Should I start a separate food account or does this belong here??

An Australian destination wedding in the Swedish summer. 🇦🇺 → 🇸🇪

Surrounded by roses, long summer days and only their closest people, Tash and Dean travelled to the other side of the world to get married in a little Swedish countryside idyll.

No big production. Just family, friends, dinner in the garden and a wedding day that felt wonderfully close to home — even 15,000 kilometres away.

From Australia to Sweden, for love and a Scandinavian summer.

Siena is special. It has a magical vibe. A bit more dark and rough in its character compared to the typical beautiful medieval towns in Tuscany. One of my guitar heroes, Segovia, was teaching classical guitar here. I would have looooved to sit here for a couple of years, practicing guitar. Maybe not too late. These shots are moments from earlier this summer.

One of my favourite photos was taken here, when I woke up in this town a couple of years ago, and took an early morning walk. A photo that have stayed with me.

A wedding at Gothenburg City Hall.

No grand production. No need to turn the day into something it isn’t.

Just two people getting married, beautiful architecture, a few quiet moments — and Gothenburg outside.

I love photographing smaller city weddings for exactly this reason. There’s space for the unexpected. For images that feel less like wedding photography and more like fragments from an actual day. capturing personality rather than reaching for limiting narratives.

Fun fact for the photographers:
The first image was completely white when I saw it in the editing. Properly, spectacularly overexposed. I pulled the exposure all the way down in Capture One and somehow… there she was.

Sometimes the mistake gives you the photograph.

You never meant to fit inside a single character. I don’t ask people to perform poses for my camera. Rather explore different parts of themselves through being present. Creating a safe space for them without judgement that allows for true self expression without apologising for not fitting inside any shallow pre defined story of you.

Captures from a few weeks ago in Gamla Stan, Stockholm. Absolutely beautiful warm evening, walking around with xpro3 | 18mm f2 and x100vi together with Anton James Olsson . We took a good photo walk and just enjoyed the best of Stockholm before work the day after.

I keep coming back to the 18mm paired with xpro. It’s just inspiring to go out and compose with. Preferably in black and white. It’s got that not too perfect, rock n roll vibe. Not giving you much support by look itself-forcing you to only think about light and what’s in the frame.
