This past November, I had the incredible privilege of photographing another beautiful couple (Thelma & Finn), and I couldn’t be more grateful. These moments are so precious to me, and I will always cherish the opportunity to be part of such a special time in someone’s life.

A few years ago, I had the privilege of registering the young boy when he was just a baby, capturing some wonderful memories of this beautiful family. Now, with a little sister on the way, they extended me the privilege to capture some more sweet moments. What a beautiful autumn day that was! 🍁🍂🤰🏻

Hello there. It’s me again. For basically a decade I’ve been shooting with Sony mirrorless cameras. I love the gear, the quality it renders to my work. But there’s a quote from Chase Jarvis, an American photographer, that has been proving to be more true than ever: “The best camera is the one that’s with you”. To be able to carry in my pocket my iPhone and then, being able to use light modifiers to capture shots (in this case a A2 ) only possible before by those “professional” cameras is a dream come true. The ease of use and the practicality make the possibilities endless!

The idea is not exclusively mine. Recreating a famous portrait is not something new. But inspired by a British photographer I decided to do the exercise and also try my own version of the famous portrait of taken by Terry O’Neill, around 1988. To this shot I did what anyone should do when recreating another portrait from a previous one: I reverse engineered the original shot, observing the details, where the lights come from, what type of shadows, and with the help of my wife as the model, this was the final result.
