D***s with (Photographic) Darkrooms 📸🏠🌈

I wish to speak to people who have experience of one or multiple of the following, as part of my PhD research:

🚨 Have you ever made or owned a home darkroom, permanent or semi-permanent?

📷 Do you have memories of home darkrooms? Has this influenced your photography?

🏠 Do you have experience of setting up or running a home or community darkroom?

Paris - other photos. I have seen so many people post about their paris trips. There was so much going on in the city that apart from Paris Photo, I don't think anyone posted about the same events! We went to a great exhibition at the Mémorial De La Shoah - "How the N***s photographed their crimes. Auschwitz 1944". And then on my last day I headed to see "POLARAKI - Thousand polaroids by Araki Nobuyoshi" at Guimet Museum.

What a year!! Last new year's plans were only to carry on learning to sew and get back into creative work and photography. 📷
This included applying to exhibitions that I didn't get, had my first informal exhibition with Creatives Getting Coffee in sweden, sold at my first proper art market, made hot chocolate film developer, then ended up getting a fully funded PhD studentship in LGBTQIA Photographic history?!?! ✨️✨️
2024 January Molly would have never believed that would be the state of 2025 Jan Molly but here we are! So much can change and be accomplished in a year so here's to the next one!

Photos 📸
1. Back in the darkroom at uni
2. First thing I sewed in 2024
3. My first photography themed tattoo. Based on my cyanotypes in collaboration with .ttt
4. New Camera!
5. Mushroom button i made by sewing to my apron.
6. Telephone booth cards! 💖
