Portraits of Neela 📸

Headshots can be created on location or in the studio. You just need to know how you want your photos to feel. If you choose to do a lifestyle session at a location, make sure there's enough light that comes in. How do you know if there's enough light? Look at how big the windows are. If the windows are small there will be less natural light to work with. The bigger the better!

Here’s a behind the scene image of me photographing Movements clothing brand this weekend.

This project has been in the making for the last couple of months. There are so many things that need to be done before the actual shoot day to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Which includes the understanding of the brand, creating a mood board that reflects the brand look, booking models, booking makeup and making sure everyone is available for the shoot date. And then planning the day out so that we are all on schedule.

It was really great getting to see the final result of all the hard work. It also helps to have amazing energy and mood on set so that everyone brings their best vibes! ✨

Gabby asked for the most unique branding photo session that I have ever had! But hey, if you ask for something to be created I will usually give it a try. We went from simple portraits to wild and crazy unicorns and dinosaurs. 🦄

Did you know that this year there will be more female entrepreneurs starting a business online? If you're one of them then it's really important to start thinking about how you can grow your brand visually, so that you can attract your dream clients.

Calling entrepreneurs and product based businesses!

Do you feel like you don't have enough content for your business? I mean actual content that relates to your business? And I'm not talking about stock photography that you bought.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for stock photography. It really does save you time so you don't have to make your own content.

But in reality stock photography can feel like "stock photography". There's nothing personal about it, and well it's not completely unique to you and your business.

But think for a minute. What if you could learn how to create unique content photos for you business? Photos that no one else is using. Wouldn't that be awesome!

The ultimate goal is to pay someone to take photos for you all the time, but let's face it when you are just starting a business you don't have loads of money to shell out to pay for photography.

But don't you worry! I have created an online course where I guide you step by step on how to build a strong brand foundation. Because if you don't have this part figured out, then you can't create the content that goes with it.

I'm currently seeking beta testers for the course. Spots are starting to fill up and I am only accepting 6 people! I will post the link in the comments.

It literally takes a team to make the vision come to life from the designer, the makeup artist, the stylist, and the videographer and photographer.

We all have our roles that contribute to the outcome of the photos. It can be overwhelming when you begin to plan a big shoot, but the outcome is really the best part of it all.
