When I first focused heavily on Fine Art Portraits I felt such a relief of not having to push hard for kids to look happy in front of the camera. To allow them to be just who they are felt like more soulful photography.
I do meet clients that really want their kids to look happy happy in their images and of course we do that too..
Are you a parent? Do you think it’s important that kids smile in portraits? 🤗.

This is a trend that seemed fun to jump on. The Yes…But..
And always fun to share a bit about my process too.
YES the editing is a big part of my creative work. It’s the final touch where my inner painter / artist is let loose and the finished piece comes together step by step.
BUT there is always a start with specific creative choices to make sure the canva is set up correctly. Very deliberate choices in models, styling, posing, color choices and the lighting.. and even the choice of lens on my camera. It all leads up to the freedom I then have at that creative transition in the final steps of editing

The joy of shooting a beautiful wedding, and we’re at this amazing venue Henrik & Oscar, seeing potential fine art backdrops everywhere and the props are all around. Then add to the mix the fabulous flower girl Telma, daughter to my wedding couple Karin Faaij Hultgren and Bram, being a great model.. and so it just happened we created a little fine art portrait.

There is something pretty special about getting a group of photographers together and create.

We learn. We experiment. We share ideas. We figure things out.. and talk way too much about light and color, props, settings…and all photography related.. being in a bubble that only other photographers can relate to ..

That’s one of the things I love most about workshops. It’s never just about me showing what I do. I learn and get inspired too.

💗 SE HIT brudpar som gifter sig Pingstafton💗
Jag är tillgänglig som fotograf då jag precis fått mitt uppdrag avbokat på grund av hastig sjukdom.
