I am incredibly happy and deeply honoured to have my work exhibited at Galerie Huit Arles during the Rencontres d'Arles Festival. Thank you to the British Journal of Photography British Journal of Photography for selecting my photograph.

Photography has taken me on a long and unexpected journey. If someone had told me a few years ago that one of my photographs would be exhibited in Arles, I would never have believed it.

My heartfelt thanks to my dear friend Chris Christian Köppel , who introduced me to photography, encouraged me from the very beginning, challenged me to grow, and above all, taught me to enjoy and love the process.

Thank you to Dennie Dennie Cody , my mentor and curator, for your generosity, for organising so many inspiring photowalks and workshops, and for helping me develop my own photographic vision.

And, of course, thank you to my husband and my family. None of this would have been possible without your love, patience, and unconditional support.

Una colección de fotografías que tomé durante los años que viví en Asia, con el hilo conductor del uso del traje tradicional en la vida diaria. Hay fotos de Mongolia, Bután, Indonesia, Myanmar, Japón, Corea del Norte, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Laos, Vietnam, Tailandia, Singapur.... ¡te va a gustar!

Very happy to share that this photograph, Absence, has been selected by the British Journal of Photography as one of the winning images in OpenWalls Spotlight 2026. It will be exhibited this summer at Galerie Huit Arles during the Rencontres d’Arles International Photography Festival .
The image is part of Memory, a project in which I reflect on traces, absence, and what remains.

A fractured domestic space stands between absence and memory. The image explores the persistence of space beyond its physical form, a place that continues to inhabit us after it has disappeared.

I am deeply grateful for this recognition and especially excited to see the work exhibited in Arles this summer.

Muy feliz de compartir que esta fotografía, Ausencia, ha sido seleccionada por el British Journal of Photography como una de las imágenes ganadoras de OpenWalls Spotlight 2026. Se exhibirá este verano en la Galerie Huit de Arles, durante el festival internacional de fotografía Rencontres d’Arles.
La imagen forma parte de Memoria, un proyecto en el que reflexiono sobre la huella, la ausencia y aquello que permanece.

Un espacio doméstico fracturado se sitúa entre la ausencia y la memoria. La imagen explora la persistencia del espacio más allá de su forma física, un lugar que continúa habitándonos incluso después de haber desaparecido.

Estoy muy agradecida por este reconocimiento y especialmente ilusionada por verla expuesta este verano en Arles.
