It may have been May the 4th a couple of days ago but today, it’s all about Revenge of the 6th. Even so, there is always hope in the end where we see the Rise of Skywalker.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Star Wars and today, Singapore celebrates May the 4th!

Growing up with the Original Trilogy, I used to watch A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi on repeat after school on my dad’s laser disc player, have their soundtracks spun up on my discman, and fly down the Death Star trench to launch proton torpedoes into the exhaust port for the Rebel Alliance or hunt pirates in a roaring TIE Fighter for the Imperial Navy in X-Wing vs TIE Fighter on an MS-DOS PC.

Over the years, I cosplayed as Jedi and Sith, played Star Wars the Old Republic MMO as a Sith Juggernaut, collected toys and figurines, shot cosplayers depicting Star Wars characters, worked with clients who did a Star Wars-themed prewedding shoot…

My dream came true when I got to visit Galaxy’s Edge a couple of years ago in Disneyland Anaheim and flew the Millennium Falcon, one of my favourite sci-fi ships of all time and built my own custom lightsaber, and meeting cast and crew acting as Rey, Chewie, Boba Fett, Kylo Ren, Din Djarin, etc!

To celebrate May the Fourth, here are some of my favourite toy photography done with some of my Star Wars collectibles. Which one is your favourite?
