Today's photography workshop for Riverside Secondary Media Club.

I enjoy sharing and teaching whenever I can afford the time and I am so glad we all made time for this and made it happen.

Today was Day 1 of a two day photography camp for the Riversidians. For most of them, it is the start of what would hopefully be a beautiful journey for them.

Besides, the basic 101 of photography, today's main focus was to invite them to always shoot with intent. Transforming snapshots to photographs. There are 3 roles a photographer can take - the observer, the documentarian and the artist.

Tomorrow we will introduce more activities for them to try out what they have learned today.

Special thanks to the Principal of RSS who is herself an avid photographer, who gave her support behind this initiative.

And also lots of gratitude to Sony Singapore who have never said no. They supported the workshop with camera loans for the students!

And lastly, our new interns who made the journey to Riverside Secondary this morning at 730am! And for helping me throughout the week workshop!

I do hope you are having a great Father's Day weekend!

I have been busy over the last few weeks with our move to our new studio! It has been challenging but also very fulfilling. We are looking forward to moving in real soon! More on the move in the coming weeks!

Here is a set of images from a recent shoot with dear Sheila and her family. Sheila runs not one but two pet boardings THE PAWLOUR (HOUGANG) and Pupperton Hotel

This is our second shoot and it was a fun filled shoot. The girls are just so joyful, cheeky and loving. We were also blessed with great light!

Every year I wonder how much the kids will change. Every year they show up a little taller, a little chattier, and a lot faster.
Their furkid, Olive didn’t join us this round but they promised I will see him next session 😆 ~ Ainsley

The greatest is when a family comes back year after year, trusting me to freeze another chapter of their story.

I’ve watched babies becomes toddlers, toddlers become big siblings, and parents wonder where the time went.

Same family. Different season. Priceless memories. ~ Ainsley

My confession:

The cheeky ones are always my favorites.

The kids who can’t resist making a funny face.
The ones who sneak in a flex when nobody asked.
The ones who turn a “simple family photo” into a comedy show.

Because these are the little things parents laugh about now and the little things they’ll miss when the kids suddenly become teenagers who don’t want photos anymore.

​Price: $95 for a solo portrait session.

​The Session: 15 minutes of dedicated studio time.

​The Goods: Choose from 15 images; 1 fully edited professional portrait delivered the very same day.

​Flexible: Bring a friend or family member for a small additional fee.
