Taken at the old Jurong East Bus Interchange.

Express 506 is currently the only full day express trunk service that is operating under SBS Transit - with 502 being under SMRT and 518 under Go-Ahead.

This service also falls on a rather odd package - the Bedok Bus Package; which it plies between Jurong East - Serangoon. With rumors spreading regarding an extension of the service, what do you think about this Express service?

Despite the Euro 4 Scania KUBs progressively being phased out, some of these buses even made it to Go-Ahead instead of staying within SBST. This bus, however, has about a year left due to lifespan extensions - which might change once the electric BYD buses are ready.

Last week was SBS Transit's final times in Tampines - as a majority operator there, as Go-Ahead Singapore took over 99% of the SBST's services.

Service 8, however was excluded as it falls under the Bishan-Toa Payoh Bus Package.

This bus, together with a few Scanias, are on its 3rd operator after being reshuffled from SBST, then to SMRT Buses, and now to Go-Ahead.
