One of the things we love about watching Hart work is seeing how ๐’๐’‚๐’•๐’–๐’“๐’‚๐’๐’๐’š he connects with kids ๐Ÿ˜Š

Whether itโ€™s a family shoot or a newborn session with older siblings, he knows how to get kids comfortable, engaged and most importantly, having fun. Sometimes itโ€™s a little play, a silly moment or simply giving them time to warm up.

For this studio family shoot, Hart brought Ruby's family through a few different backdrops to create a variety of looks and moments, while making sure her 7 month old baby was happy and comfortable throughout the session.

Your home doesnโ€™t have to be big, spotless, or perfectly styled for beautiful family photos ๐Ÿค

For young families, especially with little ones under 5, keeping the shoot short and engaging makes all the difference. They have very little attention span, and the longer the shoot goes, the more tired everyone gets.

For Guo Weiโ€™s family, Hart photographed them at home with their 1-year-old โ€” and the whole shoot was wrapped up in less than 40 minutes.

A little space, a few good angles, and lots of patience are often all you need to capture those tiny expressions and genuine moments that make your family, your family.

The most important part of a family photoshoot isn't the photos?

It's not about smiling perfectly.
It's not about matching outfits.
And trust me... nobody has ever looked back and said,

I think a family photoshoot is really about one thing...
