PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT | COPE THUNDER 2026 🇵🇭✈️

In line with Exercise Cope Thunder 2026, residents in the vicinity of Basa Air Base, Clark Air Base, and surrounding communities are advised of increased jet flying operations in the coming days.

These activities are part of coordinated joint training exercises aimed at enhancing interoperability, readiness, and operational capability. Residents may experience elevated aircraft noise levels as participating air assets conduct scheduled operations.

These are routine and planned training activities. No cause for alarm.

We sincerely appreciate your continued support and understanding as we train to defend and serve our nation. 🫡

Welcome back to the Philippines, The Republic of Korea Air Force Aerobatic Team, Black Eagles 블랙이글스!

The team arrived at Clark International Airport late this afternoon. This arrival comes shortly after the team made their debut in the Middle East at the World Defense Show 2026 in Saudi Arabia. Their journey back to South Korea involves several legs across Asia, with Clark, Pampanga serving as one of their key stops.

The Black Eagles are expected to perform a Friendship Flight alongside Philippine Air Force FA-50PHs on Monday, February 23, 2026.

Are you guys ready for the Friendship Flight featuring the The Republic of Korea Air Force Aerobatic Team, Black Eagles 블랙이글스 and the Philippine Air Force?

As confirmed by the official page of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, South Korea’s Black Eagles are set to join the PAF for a Friendship Flight on the 23rd of February.
